Singaporeans or not, everybody just loves to sing. Some can sing good while there are others that sing terribly. No matter what, the important thing is there’s the desire to learn. Not all people are gifted with a singing voice but the good thing about this is you can learn how to sing well – if you are serious about it.
So, instead of sulking over your singing voice and blaming your parents for not having the talent, you can either take lessons or learn it by yourself. Looking for professional voice teachers here in Singapore is easy but if you are thinking about the price, it is better to learn it by yourself.
Here are some tips that you can consider to improve your voice quality:
- Learn how to attain rich and full tone: How can you achieve a rich and full tone? You can do this by opening your mouth wide. Be reminded that the muscles surrounding your mouth and jaw should be loose.
- Learn how to articulate well: You should also know how to articulate well. Treat singing like reading. You need to make sure that everybody understands the words that you want to say.
- Chest held high: When you sing, assume the proper posture. Your chest should be held high to ensure that your airways are unobstructed. d
- Know the importance of breathing: You should remember that the more air you take, the better it is for your singing. Never forget about taking deep breaths.
- Warm up: Many people overlook this. There are others that sing immediately without warming their vocal cords. You need to warm up your vocal cords.
If you are really serious about making this your career, you should look for voice teachers.

How can you enjoy the world as it is if you spend your whole life making a living? There is nothing wrong if you are a hard worker but if that is the case, you should at least retire early so you have plenty of time doing the things that you want to do. It is the dream of every working Singaporean to retire early.
So, what is the secret to retiring early? Actually there are no secrets because you will be taught how. Here’s how:
- Eliminate debts: The basic thing to do is eliminate your debts and not consider one again. Sadly, this is easier said than done. Starting an empty slate here in Singapore is hard and it can be very challenging but this is a must if you want to retire early. From here on, take care of your debts.
- Adjust your portfolio: If you think that dumping money in a savings account will help your retirement, you should think twice. You should know the power of investing. Investing is daunting especially if you are a newbie but as time goes by, it will get easier. Investing is risky too but this is the fastest way to retire early. Singapore has many investments in store for you.
- Measure your financial freedom ratio: There is such thing as financial freedom ratio. It can be derived if you divide your total value of assets (like business income, cash savings, annuities, CPF, stocks, bonds and the like) by annual expenses. The ideal ratio is 25. If you reach 25 or more, you are in good position to retire early.
That will suffice. If you meet all ends, you will surely retire early and say goodbye to 50+ working hours a week.

How do Singaporean take care of our environment?
Basically, it is with the strict implementation of the laws in connection to nature. Through this, there’s an assurance that nobody will abide those environment-protecting laws. When it comes to sumptuous meals, there’s no country that can beat Singapore. This is because of a wide selection of cuisines in the country. As a matter of fact, there are 4 main cuisines in Singapore and this includes Chinese, Indian, Peranakan and Malay cuisine. However, when it comes to popularity, there’s no doubt that Chinese cuisine is at the top because most people who live in Singapore have Chinese blood in them.
On the other hand, this doesn’t mean that only Chinese recipes are served in the country. In fact, if you happen to visit Little India (an area in the city that is crowded with different colors of India), you can see many attractive India restaurants that serve overrated dishes that are usually for Indians. However, they have recipes which are served for tourists.
At the heart of the nation, there is a restaurant that will really give you excitement and pure satisfaction. This is Carousel (it’s not the ride that you think), a lovely food shop that are always full with hungry customers and is surround with many shopping items. The restaurant is strategically located next to the DFS Galleria.
No doubt, this restaurant is probably the reason why many people keep on coming back to this area. How would you know that you are at the exact place? It’s simple; you just have to remember just one thing: If you saw some kind of endless line, you are at the right place. Basically, people who eat here will suffer from waiting for the food but when you are patient enough to wait for some 10 minutes, you feel like dying.
